Escape Surf School is based at the centre of UK surfing; Newquay in Cornwall and we've been teaching people to surf for over 20 years.

As well as being one of the longest running UK Surf Schools we are one of the only surf schools in Newquay to boast an ex professional surfer on their Full Time Coaching Team: Head Coach Mike Young  

We love teaching complete beginners but we also teach Intermediate and Advanced Surf Coaching and are the only surf school in Newquay offering outback, technical & progressive surf lessons on a daily basis.

We are a Specialist Surf School, in that we only teach Surfing. Our instructors are focused on their Surf Coaching, and not distracted by offering kayak lessons, coasteering, paddleboarding etc, so if you want to learn to surf or improve your surfing, with Specialist Surf Coaches then look no further.

We are open 12 months of the year, 7 days a week, closed only on Christmas Day, Boxing Day & New Years Day. Whatever the time of year, you can receive the best Surf Coaching from the experienced team at Escape Surf School.
