WHAT IS THE POWER PLATE® MACHINE?
Developed to optimise the effects of Acceleration Training™ exercise, the Power Plate® machine is one of the most exciting technological advances in the fields of sports athletics, beauty, health and fitness.
Delivering a full body workout in as little as 15 minutes, regular exercise on a Power Plate® machine - when used as part of a healthy lifestyle - can help to improve core strength and stability in as little as three times a week. Acceleration Training exercise provides many benefits to a wide range of users (see below for full list).
HOW DOES IT WORK?
The Power Plate® machine works by transferring vibrations to muscles, which naturally activates reflexive muscle contractions. By holding different positions on the machine’s vibrating platform for up to 60 seconds, you are able to target specific areas of the body. Perform a squat, bicep curl or stomach crunch, and multiple muscle groups are activated simultaneously to stretch, tone or strengthen. Acceleration Training exercise is low impact, enabling anyone, regardless of their age or fitness level, to benefit from a fast and effective workout without putting strain on joints or other parts of the body.
