The Escape Surf Academy is aimed at Intermediate and Advanced surfers, both recreational and Contest surfers, looking to improve their surfing technique. We offer a variety of courses from intensive 1/2 day sessions, through to weeklong courses.
We are a British Surfing Association (BSA) level 4 Surf School, open 12 months of the year, 7 days a week, so if you want to learn to surf or improve your surfing, then look no further. You won't be disapointed :)
Grab your surfboard and get ready to celebrate International Surfing Day on Wednesday, June 20th. Now in its eighth year, International Surfing Day unites surfers from around the world to celebrate of the sport of surfing. What began in 2005 with only just a small handful of local observances in the United States has since exploded to more than 200 events in 30 countries worldwide.In addition to catching some waves, surfers around the globe are encouraged take some time to give back to our oceans, waves and beaches. As in previous years, the Surfrider Foundation will be organizing various beach cleanup and coastal restoration events. In 2011, International Surfing Day participants collected more than 5,000 bags of trash worldwide.
