We are a British Surfing Association (BSA) level 4 Surf School, open 12 months of the year, 7 days a week, so if you want to learn to surf or improve your surfing, then look no further. You won't be disapointed :)
The Escape Surf Academy is aimed at Intermediate and Advanced surfers, both recreational and Contest surfers, looking to improve their surfing technique. We offer a variety of courses from intensive 1/2 day sessions, through to weeklong courses.
Hi Lyndsey, Just wanted to say a massive thanks on behalf of the the boys and myself to all the guys at Escape - Mike, Will, Ben, Gi and Warren made our surfing absolutley awesome! hi Lyndsey I just wanted to say thanks for a great weekend of surf lessons. I came to see you all before I left for Sheffield but I think you had gone to the afternoon's competition. Please pass on my particular thanks to Ben who was my instructor for all 3 days. I got a lot from the lessons and was amazed how straightforward it was to be able to make a start at surfing....I just need to keep practicing now! thanks again

Dear Mike, Lyndsey, Ben, Will, Chris, and Dominic Thank you ever so much for an amazing week. Three days turned into five (and almost six). I seriously didn't want to leave! I really appreciated the structured lessons and the way that you corrected technique while making sure we had the most fun we could out there. Having photos to see how I progressed over a few days was also very encouraging. This week was a true escape, and I think it got me pretty much hooked on surfing. Thanks for the friendliness, patience, advice, and fun. I had an awesome time and I'll be back soon! Anneke. (July 08)

hey surfer dudes :) just wanted too say that we ALL (molly sarah and elle) had such a good time surfing over the last few days, it was so fun and we had the best time! We really wanted to thank the instructors for putting up with us and our constant complaining, and we all acually STOOD UP! (even if i kept on doing it minus the wave), next time i even think about surfing im coming back, but dont think im carrying those boards again, i might errr 'hurt' my sides again :D. All you guys were really chilled but enthusiastic, and particularly the coasteering guys made the stags feel like heroes whilst being cared for like babies.
