The Escape Surf Academy is aimed at Intermediate and Advanced surfers, both recreational and Contest surfers, looking to improve their surfing technique. We offer a variety of courses from intensive 1/2 day sessions, through to weeklong courses.

From as little as £49 a group of friends, club or society, can experience three professional lessons, full wetsuit and board hire, bed, breakfast and discounted drinks at the bar. There’s live music, great views across Towan beach and a warm, friendly atmosphere that makes you feel at home.
The instructors are attentive and even in a large group you will feel you are getting enough attention and pick things up quickly. Even if you’ve been surfing for years they’ll still be able to teach you new things. Being a hostel, the accommodation consists of dorm-like bedrooms which is all part of the fun.
