just wanted too say that we ALL (molly sarah and elle) had such a good time surfing over the last few days, it was so fun and we had the best time! We really wanted to thank the instructors for putting up with us and our constant complaining, and we all acually STOOD UP! (even if i kept on doing it minus the wave), next time i even think about surfing im coming back, but dont think im carrying those boards again, i might errr 'hurt' my sides again :D.

Hi Lyndsey,
I just wanted to say a massive thank you to you and your teams from the Hostel, Hot Rock Coasteer, and the surf school for an amazing stag weekend.
All you guys were really chilled but enthusiastic, and particularly the coasteering guys made the stags feel like heroes whilst being cared for like babies.
Please pass on my thanks to the guys from the hostel too, and everything went so smoothly, it has really been one of the best weekends of my life!

Your tuition was the best I ever had and I guess I know what I'm talking about;) You're all very dedicated and very experienced and so I had the best surfs ever!! But that's not all: surfers often seem to be too cool for this world, but you guys are down to earth and really friendly, so we felt at home right from the first day. Thank you so much for the great times we spent together;)

Hi Guys, just wanted to thank all the instructors at Escape for this weekend, it was amazing and im totally addicted to surfing, all the instructors were good fun and fantastic teachers with plenty of patience which refelected in the confidence and quick progession of all the students who participated over the two days.

Tho sadly back for 2 days now I still feel like on Wave No. 9
I came to learn surfing and I sure did! Amazing it only took a few days to get from zero to advance. Your instructions were excellent and together with the wave awareness it was a true surfing experience. I hope to be back pdq and add on to this.
(Will, you were right, I found myself a new hobby :-)

Will you were a great instructor and gave me lots of confidance on the board which I needed-thanks for the patience!!! And to everyone who says its mad surfing in December- ITS NOT COLD AT ALL! I wouldnt go to another surf school again and Im now addicted to the buzz of surfing! thanks for everything,

I just want to say a big Thank you for making my learn to surf a great expierence. The insructors made us feel so welcome. As it was my hen party and I did not know I was going surfing. My friends was unaware that I was scared of the sea but steve was amazing with me and got me back in the water in no time. I got to face my fear of the sea on my hen party which makes it more memorable.

Just a quick email to say thank you so much for the absolutely rockin' surf lesson and great company for Llis's hen weekend - we had an absolute blast and I don't think it's one that any of us will forget soon!

Hi guys, and Lindsay,
The boys are still constantly talking about their surfing week!
I guess the weather didn't improve much after we left, and we didn't see any sun anywhere either through the summer holidays ourselves.
We are planning to come back very soon, before Christmas if we get the chance as the boys enjoyed it so much.
Anyway, enjoy the quieter time and we will see you soon.

were back to Lincoln now after our day journey! =l we just want to say a huge thankyou for all the help,
fun, support and patience you all gave us!we had a fantastic time learning to surf!we really enjoyed our self and on our last day in newquay we hired a surf board to catch a few waves on our own!!
we cant wait to come back to Newquay to see you all again and we will definitely come to escape again next year! and guess what Lindsey I think mum and dad will be doing it next time! we cant wait till then!

Just wanted to say thankyou so much for making my first surfing experience relaxed and fun, even with my pending GCSE's and tonnes of coursework I'm coming back in September with my dad to catch some more waves, even if it does mean getting the whole beach in my mouth and up my nose again
You guys were so enthusiastic and fun, not to mention patient, specially when Laura and I decided to not surf or listen to your probably much needed advice when the sea was flat and instead try and stand up on our boards and fall into the water numerous times... which must have been really annoying :)
Again thankyou for everything, you definately made surfing the most
memorable part of my 2 weeks in Newquay, even with the 7am starts!

we are back in birmingham now, back to the accents lol. Thank you for teaching us how to surf over the 3 days, we had so much fun, they were wkd!
You made the teaching fun and you were very helpful
They were the highlight of our holilday aswell as the sun. We would all love to come back again next year, and will definately come back
to have more surf lessons with you guys, hopefully you will have a 'real' minibus by then!

Just a quick note to say thanks for sorting out the lessons and please pass on my thanks to the lads who did a great job with their coaching, especially on my second "out back" lesson. Really learnt a lot from it, and now realise just how little I know ;-) I didn't come along on Sunday purely because my mate and I decided to spend some time up the coast before heading off to the aiport. Had I have been on my own for the weekend I would definitely taken the third lesson.
I have a feeling I'll be coming over a few more times this year - providing the wife can be kept happy (will cost me yet more pairs of shoes no doubt ;-)). Anyway, have a good summer and see you around again sometime.

Nikki and I got home in good time yesterday. Back at work in dull grey London - just the noise of the traffic, no waves crashing here.
Just wanted to say thanks again. We had a great weekend and despite the aches and pains loved every minute of the lessons!
Nikki and I are hoping to get back down in September but probably not until the end of the month. I might come down sooner on my own, Im hooked and hungry for more!

Its Nicky here, massive thank you for the surf and stay experience, it rocked!. You guys are fantastic and would only ever recommend you guys for anyone who wants to learn to surf. Top quality people, top quality instructors more importantly just lovely people. What can I say? Thanks so much for such an awesome weekend. Being a complete novice, Cindy, Teresa and Linda did their best to paint a picture, that I can only describe as being shoved in the washing machine on the fastest setting!! I loved every minute of it.
Mike, Will and Darryn, you did a grand job instructing, made us feel so at ease that I almost forgot I was having a lesson. I was so chuffed I managed to stand in my first lesson.
If the thrills of the day weren't enough to get your blood racing, it sure did in the evenings, my stomach still aches from all the laughter ~ you were all great entertainment value!!
I'm well and truly hooked, will definitely recommend you guys.see you all soon on our next surf trip.

never surfed before so wasn't sure what to expect, the tuition over both days we received was top class!! I
was amazed i managed to stand even in my first lesson so good work guys! We also had a great time out of the
water in Belushi's and round town. I will definitely be recommending Escape to all my friends, and i have
already started planning my next trip!!

i thought it would all end in disaster from my severe lack of surfing talent, but Darren and Will both had enough patience and surf smarts to teach myself and my friends a thing or two.

just wanna say thanks for an awesome weekend! it was freakin sweet! words just cant express how happy we are about the whole weekend.
me and my cousin are sorting out when were coming next, not too sure if the other two are comming down with us just yet, but i might be dragging down my sister and a few of her friends.
i think everyone is getting sick of us constantly talking about our weekend and how awesome it was! we've established we all want to fake our own death here so we can leave work and work/live down newquay!
and as soon as weve sorted out everything between us we'll be sure to be booking, so expect a phone call from us soon will!

Just wanted to say a massive thank you to all the guys for a wicked weekend, particularly Darryn who was our instructor and honorary Hen on the Saturday!!
All of the instructors were fantastic, helpful and friendly ensuring that everyone had a great time!! Sun, Sea, Surf, a hot tub and a great group of girls made the weekend memorable.
Only downside.we left too early on the Sunday and were unable to do our final lesson L!!! And although we may not have morphed into Cameron Diaz in the two lessons we had, we enjoyed it all the same and some of us will definitely be returning for more before the summer is out!!!

Thank you all for our brilliant surf lessons - they were fantastic and I was so chuffed to be able to stand up at the end if only for a brief second! You were all great fun and honorary hens for the weekend!!
We all had an amazing time so Kelly and I are currently arranging our next visit down to don a wetsuit and jump in the hot tub! (and of course have lots more surfing lessons!)

cheers guys for the ace surfin, the first time I stood up gave me a great buzz that i'll never forget and hopefully i'll get it again when i come down in the summer. You are a great teacher mike and im sure the other guys are too and the equipment is great too. i thought i was gunna be freezing my nuts of but i was nice 'n' warm.
All of the lesson was great even the warm up exercise!!

Thanks 4 a great weekend, the surfing was awesome, and the grand tour of newquay was memorable 4 many reasons, even though we did get wet feet (your face)!!! By the end we could all stand up on the board, catch unbroken waves, and make turns. We are truely hooked on surfing now and wish we could have stayed 4 longer. It was a weekend that will not be forgotten in a long time - so many stories. You were all so professional and helped us progress quickly. We look forward to coming back in the summer 4 some more surfing action.

Dear Mike and Will
Just wanted to drop you a line to say thanks and big hugs for the fantastic surf lessons you gave us!
Myself and friend Carmel came down with some friends for a surf and stay weekend. None of us had ever surfed before, so we were a little nervous of what to expect.Straight away, as soon as we met you, you made us feel very relaxed and at ease, which helped us all lose the butterflies in out tummies! So much so, that none of the girls really minded stripping down to our bikinis in front of you (I bet you've seen it all before eh!!) !!
After getting into our wetsuits (that was fun!) and down on the beach during the intro / safety briefing, you were both so clear in explaining all the formalities and again made us feel like we were in safe hands.
Once in the water, you were always there; full of encouragement, tips, smiles, whistles and those really useful pushes when we really needed them!
By the end of our first session all the girls managed to ride at least 2 waves into the shore without any help from you, which basically just shows what great tuition you gave. And everybody said they would definitely do it again, and would always recommend you guys to anyone who was thinking of having surfing lessons in Newquay.
I personally have never had so much fun in the sea as that day, and with all your help and encouragement, you made me feel like I could face any wave!
Bring on the 6 footers!!

To make this short, I had a fantastic time, the waves were great, not too big, not too small ideal for beginners and advanced beginners like myself. But best of all, since I was the only one in the group, I had two surf sessions one each with Mike and Will and it was absolutely fantastic. These guys really do know how to teach you to surf. I had done 2 other courses previously, one in Portugal and one in Costa Rica but during the two days at the Escape I really felt that I progressed a lot in my ability
It's just some little things they told me which made a huge difference. And it was great to have the surf instructor next to you all the time, even catching the same wave, watching exactly what you are doing and correcting you. I have caught more waves in 3 days than in 5 weeks Portugal and Costa Rica together.
Overall I can highly recommend the Surf school Escape, if you want to improve your surfing skills or start surfing or just have a good time, that's the place to go. Mike and Will are great guys and professionals in their job. Thanks again to Mike and Will, I had a great time and will surely come back for more.

Thanks for a geat weekend - surfing and coasteering - in your well organised "wet and wild " weekend. The surfing tuition was exceptional and my teenage sons and I progressed brilliantly under your expertise. As for the coasteering expeditions you organised, floating with the currents over the Cribbar reef - what a huge experience which we want to repeat.
